ÒIf pigs could flyÓ

This is Mary JolleyÕs (Candidate for City Commissioner) quotation in reference to the question of carbon capture and sequesterization for the proposed Highwood coal-burning plant. She was correctly indicating that the technology to do this does not presently exist and will probably never be available at a cost that can be tolerated for the Highwood Generating Station fluidized bed process.  The incumbents and several other candidates, running for office, have not done their homework on this important subject and it shows. Thankfully, there are three candidates who do understand these coal plant issues we are faced with.  Ed McKnight (running for mayor), Mary Jolley (running for commissioner), and Stuart Lewin (running for commissioner).  These folks are intelligent, dedicated to improving Great Falls, accessible and accountable. They advocate an open government accountable to the people of this community.  Please mark your ballots in favor of these three candidates.  Together they will lead this community into a tolerant, prosperous, and healthy future.
