Wants answers
I
would like to know where Mayor Stebbins stands on the coal-fired power plant. I
specifically voted for her because when she ran for mayor she was against it.
I
fail to understand how she and those on the committee can stand by and not
listen to the voices of Great Falls. They have turned a deaf ear to our
community. We are not children who need to be looked out for. We need people
who will represent our voices, which, by the way are not being heard.
Who
runs this town Ñ or should I say who's getting their pocket lined with
benefits? Why has the community's right to vote on the building of the plant
been ignored, and who has approved the cost to build the darn thing? We
haven't! Your taxpayers want answers.
Also,
what does one do about the semi trucks, mostly Canadian, that come down 1st
Avenue North, turn north onto 15th Street? This is a residential area, not a
truck route. I've seen cattle haulers and double gas tankers turning the corner
regularly.
