Pick an option

Why coal? In Montana, we have plenty of other natural resources that we could use. In fact, we have enough that it makes the need for a coal-fired plant seem superfluous. What with all the hydroelectric power (very reliable), natural gas, wind turbines (How could anyone say these obstruct their views? It took me almost a month to see them.) and various alternative sources (even coal-to-liquid would be better than straight-up coal), the idea of putting up a coal plant seems like unnecessarily making local residents repaint their houses every couple years.

Plus, I haven't met a single person who wants a coal-fired plant. Isn't this supposed to be government for the people?
