Vote anti-coal
It's
really quite simple, folks. Public power, public money, public vote!
Why
weren't we allowed to vote? And remember, where there's dirty power, there's
dirty players. (Please keep grammatical error.) It really is simple, isn't it?
Vote
for Stuart Lewin, Mary Jolley, and Ed McKnight to stop this madness. Our
government is supposed to represent the will of the people, not the will of
SME. It's clear by now that no one wants this proposed coal plant.
So,
where's the disconnect? Why isn't our current city government representing us?
In a democracy, you rule with the consent of the governed. If you attempt to
rule without the consent of the governed, you will rule with the contempt of
the governed. And that's where we currently are.
Let's
take our city government back in November.
