The greatest source of natural energy we have on Earth is water. Without water, there would be no life on this planet.
In the city of Great Falls, we have that great source of water running right through our city 365 days a year. It is called the Missouri River.
We have five dams within 11 miles of Great Falls. We have the technology to double the power source at these dams. To burn thousands of tons of coal year after year to pollute our air and ground is completely insane. The major reason for SME to build and use this plant is called "money."
Wake up Great Falls. The state of Montana and the Montana people should own all dams in this state. It would cut our power bills in half and build the Montana Department of Revenue to help out our taxes.
