Comment on Babcock & Brown:
Purchase of NW Energy a ‘long term’ investment. Sale price is 2.2 Billion, and BBI could invest 2-3 Billion more into that over 15-20 year period ‘if’ conditions are right for development. NW Energy retains all employees and local control (confirmed by my NW Energy customer service representative today. 8% of NW Energy power is from Judith Gap Wind Farm. BBW is Babcock and Brown which ‘could’ invest in wind energy generation facilities if the ‘regulatory’ conditions were advantageous.
